Sepia faces of fishermen
Gaze out from old photographs;
Left high and dry and time-locked,
In the tiny one-room museum,
On the quayside of this estuary village.
Each soul swept away by the years,
Yet still their images remain,
Demanding admiration and respect,
A challenge to our ephemeral,
Gaudy present day.
And you and I
Without an adequate response
Leave the past behind and wander out into the sunshine,
Down a long grassy path cut through a landscape of tall reeds,
Attracted as always by the glamour of the sea.

İ found out that you are a famous pro. İllustratator. İ loved your gallery so much. İ hope i will become a children book illustrator one day. Are there any imprtant tips for my long journey to become an illustrator ?

I did earn my living as a professional illustrator for many years but now I'm retired. The paintings and drawings I produce now are just to please myself.
I don't think I can offer you any useful advice. Everyone's journey is different and the circumstances which lead to my own modest success cant be repeated. Much depends on being at the right place at the right time. All I can say is work hard and be lucky. :)
